A resolution is a firm decision. Its a little rubbish to be expecting a life-altering change of habits based on an arbitrary calendar event. On the other hand, a challenge is an invitation, and though you may fail it, it also invites you to try again.
I started posting these on Twitter as I thought of them. I'll cross post them onto this article if I continue to add to the list. Perhaps we'll check in twelve months from now and see how I did...?
First challenge of the new year: trying to get back onto a sensible sleep and wake schedule before returning to work on Wednesday!

Second challenge for the new year: continue to learn how to cook better, and by extension, eat better.

Third challenge of the new year: more writing, more fictioneering, more blogging, more contributing.

Challenge four: stand up *straight*! If I look frustrated when reminded, know that I'm only frustrated at *myself* for needing the reminder.
