The fifth Humble Indie Bundle is out, and it looks like the best one so far! Experience the fear and paranoia of Amnesia: The Dark Descent; the intensity and impact of LIMBO; the zany characters of Psychonauts; the future-retro, audiovisual concoction of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP; and, for those of us who pay more than the average price, the action-RPG, Bastion.
For those who've never heard of the Humble Indie Bundle, they are a series of game bundles that are sold and distributed online at a price determined by the you, the buyer. The games are multi-platform, DRM-free, and independently developed, and the buyers can set the revenue split between the developers, charities and bundle organizers.
Buying the bundle above, I received Steam keys for all five games above as well as the optiont to download them independantly for Windows and Mac. I paid ten bucks, more than the average, so that included Bastion in the set. Well worth it; I fully believe these games are worth ten to fifteen buck each.
As a bonus, I also was able to download the soundtrack for all five games, in MP3 or FLAC format! I already have Darren Korb's Bastion soundtrack and can highly recommend it :)
