Third in the series, and I'm getting a little more comfortable with the inking. My lines were smoother, which prevents those little bunched up gobs that were in the previous two strips. Also, my hand lettering turned out much better this time around. I made sure to keep the letters wide and spaced apart this time. I'm going to pick up a brush pen sometime this week, so we'll see this improvement translates into some interesting lines with it.
It only took me a couple strips to realize that the two characters had too simple a design. There just wasn't enough in them to emote, especially the dog. No guarantee they'll remain in this current form. They may continue to evolve, based on whim and results. But at least I have more work with now.
